El treball us farà lliures d'allò que no vulgueu veure
Work will make you free from what you don't want to see
---------------------------------------------------------

(Site-specific. 2021)

This intervention traces how the hand of man blurs in nature, or its face, how nature blurs in the middle of the traces produced by the humanization of the landscape. Establishing a parallelism from a series of interventions that mix to the point of confusion with the elements that make up the Pletera (Area where the work took place).

La Pletera is a location from which the streets of an urbanization that was in the middle of development have been withdrawn. Through the LIFE-NATURA 2000 European program, the site has been faithfully restored to how it was before the street network was urbanized. There are ruins we glorify and others we raze. Allocating financial and human resources to preserve or erase any trace of it.

This intervention revisits the stages of this presumed disappearance. Based on a series of site-specific interventions that blend into the landscape. These emulate the protocols that have been followed to eliminate pre-existing urban elements to make way for a reconstructed nature.
